What’s Next?

After nearly 20 years in operation, DF has decided it’s time to take a step back and evaluate where we are, where we’ve been, and where we’re headed. In fall and winter of 2017, we’ll be taking time to check in with our stakeholders to learn about their needs, and how DF can continue to be a relevant and valuable service. If you’ve engaged with DF in the past, we hope you will continue to do so as we work to make DF an even greater asset to the emergency management community.

In early 2018, the Board will reconvene to discuss what we’ve heard, and decide next steps for the coming year. Please stay tuned to this page for updates at that time, or contact us for more information.

About the Forum

Disaster Forum is planned and organized to accomplish this through a combination of:

  • Key note and break out speakers from around the world.
  • Planned common meals and planned social events in the evenings where networking is encouraged and further speakers are engaged.
  • Live demonstration exercises and events.
